Lianimals Ranch is in the installation phase of the olive grove and we are currently experimenting with varietals including Frantoio, Lucca, Mission, Manzanillo and Kalamata to see what thrives best in the High Desert of southern California. Our expected timeline for table olives, oil and nursery products is as follows:
Fall 2012: Expecting our first harvest to prepare fresh and preserved table olives for sale.
Fall 2013: We'll have trees mature enough now to produce some really special olive oils!
Olive Products:
Spring 2012: The first potted olive plants will be available and suitable as houseplants or ornamentals.
